Group Home Worker

Role Summary

Group Home Workers and our Residential Care Workers are responsible for providing support to Core Members. They create a feeling of home and family for Core Members and others living in the household. They work in collaboration with their home’s team to ensure the well-being, growth and development of Core Members’ lives in accordance with Shekinah’s principles, values, and Essence of Life philosophy. Group Home Workers are expected to connect well with all team and Core Members and respect those who put their trust in them. They will support and advocate for Core Members in all aspects of daily living. Group Home Workers are reliable people who take initiative in the home, continue to broaden their abilities, and participate as valued members of their home team and the Shekinah community.
